Music and Poetry

Erwin is a published poet (Onyx Spoken Word Anthology) and was a featured guest poet at various venues in the LA area. When music executive Gordon Biggins (formerly of EMI London) was introduced to her poetry he facilitated a collaboration in Manchester UK with DJ Wai Wan. Since working with Wai, Erwin has composed and produced her own music, releasing two trip hop based spoken word CDs both independently released on CD Baby. LA clubs she performed at include The Temple Bar, The Knitting Factory’s Alterknit Lounge, Fais Do Do, The Derby, The Joint, Zen, The Cat Club, Genghis Cohen, The Crooked Bar, and The Cameron House in Toronto.
